ThethievesofPhibes'scrollssufferanattritionproblemasInspectorsTroutandWaverlychasePhibesacrosstheworld.ThepartyisledbyBeiderbeck(RobertQuarry,bestknownforplayingCountYorga).Althoughhelooksyoung,heisseveralhundredyearsoldandwantstofindtheRiverofLifeinordertostayaliveandbewithhisloverDiana(FionaLewis)forever.ThistimePhibes'murdersallhaveanEgyptianthemetothem;forexample,onecharacterissand-blastedtodeath.Otherdeathsincludesomeonebeingstungtodeathbyscorpions,beingeatenbyaneagle(intheoriginalscriptimpaledbyagoldeagleinthesamewayadoctorinTheAbominableDr.Phibeswasimpaledbyagoldenunicorn),andagoldensnakepiercingsomeone'sskull.
