AccompaniedbyRamirez,hisadoptivesisterClyde,andtheirpetGaul,QuentinseeksouttheJettatorstogaintheirQuickeningandtheirknowledge-notbybeheading,butbyasharingasMacLeodandtheJettatorgraspthesameswordsimultaneously(althoughtheeffectsaresometimesjustasdestructivetothesurroundingarea).InthewakeofasharingtheJettatorbecomesmortalandoftenhisorherswordshatterstosignifythis.WiththewisdomofRamírezandtheQuickeningsoftheJettators,QuentinmaybeabletodestroyKortan. Despitebeingredesignedtoattractayoungeraudience,theshowwassurprisinglymature/violent;itwasn'tuncommonforminorcharacterstodie,andwhileQuentintookotherImmortals'powerandknowledgewithoutalsotakingtheirlives,Kortanstilldidittheoldway,bybeheadingthem.Inaddition,thoughessentiallyagood-versus-evilscenario,mostofthecharactersonbothsidesweremorethanjustblackandwhiteheroesandvillains.ManyofKortan'shenchmenareshowntohavegoodcharacteristicsandfeelings-andevenonoccasionQuentinwillbetemptedbygreedandbeselfish,especiallywhenofferedthechancesofimmensepower.Ofcourse,ultimately,hisgoodsidealwayswinsthrough.SomeepisodesinvolveJettatorsmakinguseofaloopholeintheiroathtochallengeKortanregardless,suchasMatsuda,whobuiltacyborgtofightKortaninhisstead,orCornell,whochangedhisnametoOriontobeabletofightKortan.
